Dr. Eric Armstrong
Eric is a native of Alabama but has called Texas home for the last twenty years. He came to know the Lord at the age of six and surrendered to ministry in the spring of 1999. He holds a biology degree from Samford University, where he graduated summa cum laude before earning both a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is blessed with a godly wife, and three children who range in age from elementary to high school. Eric serves as the senior pastor of Woods Chapel Baptist Church in Texas and enjoys talking about all things theological and archaeological.
Eric enjoys college football and has been a lifelong fan of the Crimson Tide. In his spare time, he likes to read theology, history, classic novels, and biographies. When traveling, he and his family enjoy spending time in the mountains or along the Gulf Coast.
Brad Horton
Brad became a Christian in 1989, and currently serves as a deacon and Bible study teacher at Woods Chapel Baptist Church, in Arlington, Texas. Brad and his wife have been married for over sixteen years and have been members at Woods Chapel since 2011. Brad is a CPA, CFE, MST, and MBA; he graduated from The University of Texas in 2003.
Brad has served as a lecturer of accounting at several local colleges in the DFW area, has served as a city council member in the city where he and his family reside, and also has served on that city's Economic Development Corporation and Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone board. Brad is the Executive Chairman and Founder of Liberty Financial Solutions, LLC.
In his free time, Brad enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and going to sporting events; particularly Longhorns games. Brad is also a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers, and Dallas Stars.
